不定冠词可以表“特指”吗

下面句子为何为 a body 而不需要 the body，这不是特指吗？

Although a body has not yet been found, the police suspect that he has been murdered. 尽管并未找到尸体，警方怀疑他已经被谋杀了。

这句话可以改写成：

Although no body has been found yet, the police...

no=not any. 警方常常会发现尸体，有的是无名尸。有的是没办法辨认的尸体。有时会同时发现几具尸体。即便发现一具尸体也未必是句子中的he的。但至少可以辨认是否他的。但一具尸体都没发现。所以用不定冠词。这里不是特指。尽管这样，警方还是怀疑他被谋杀了。这不矛盾。
